Cancellation Policy.
01How to cancel
You can cancel a paid subscription (Basic or Pro) at any time:
- In-app. From your account settings, using the Cancel subscription action, which uses Paddle’s secure cancellation flow; or
- Via Paddle. Through the customer portal link in any Paddle receipt or billing email.
Cancellation is self-serve and is no more difficult than signing up. We do not require you to call, email, or pass through retention steps to cancel.
02What happens when you cancel
- Your cancellation is scheduled for the end of your current paid billing period (Paddle “cancel at end of period”).
- You keep full access to your paid plan until that period ends.
- Your subscription will not renew. No further payments are taken.
- At period end, your account moves to the Free plan. We do not delete your data on cancellation; see the Privacy Policy for retention.
03No refund for the unused part of a period
Cancelling stops future billing. It does not refund the remaining, unused days of the period you have already paid for. You keep access for the time you paid for; we do not return money for time not used. This is separate from your statutory withdrawal and cooling-off rights (EU/EEA/UK and certain other regions), which are set out in the Refund Policy Section 4 and which take precedence where they apply.
04Timing — avoiding the next charge
To be certain you are not billed for the next period, cancel at least 48 hours before your renewal date. If you cancel after a renewal has already been charged, the cancellation applies to the following period and the period just charged runs to its end (subject to your statutory rights).
05Annual plans
Cancelling an annual plan stops renewal at the end of the current annual term; access continues to that term’s end, and there is no refund of the unused portion, except for any applicable statutory withdrawal right on a new purchase (see Refund PolicySection 4 — for annual plans the proportionate in-window refund can be material).
06Free plan
The Free plan (admin-approved during Beta) involves no payment, so there is nothing to cancel. You can stop using it at any time, and you can delete your account from your account settings.
07Account deletion vs. cancellation
- Cancelling stops billing and drops you to the Free plan; your account and data remain (see Privacy Policy retention).
- Deleting your account is a separate action that ends your account and triggers data erasure per the Privacy Policy.
Cancelling does not delete your account, and deleting your account does not by itself entitle you to a refund of a paid period.
08Statutory rights (EU / EEA / UK and other regions)
Nothing in this policy removes mandatory cancellation, withdrawal, or consumer-guarantee rights you have under the law of your country (including the EU/UK 14-day right of withdrawal, the Australian Consumer Law, and the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, where applicable). Where those rights apply, they take precedence. See the Refund Policy.
EU consumers can use the dedicated withdrawal function (Refund Policy Section 4.2) to exercise the 14-day right.
